Surgery Scheduled - 11/10/26
I wanted to give you a quick update on everything, but first I want to thank our elders for their love and leadership during this season of my life. I am so incredibly humbled and encouraged by the outpouring of love and can't even begin to express how much it means to me and Kelly to be loved so deeply. Thank you church for all that you're doing to care for us as during this dark tunnel of life. I continue to trust the engineer of my life who created me, knows me, and sustains me each moment of the day.
I had my pre-op visit this morning and so far everything is pointing to surgery on Tuesday, November 10th. I don't have a time yet for surgery, but we will keep you posted. I had a CT Scan and MRI on Friday of last week to complete imaging needed for the surgery and now I should be done with appointments until surgery in two weeks. Many have asked how I am feeling and so here is a quick answer: generally speaking I feel pretty good. I am continuing to struggle with my vision and have some bad days mixed in with the good. I am anxious to see if my vision will improve a little bit after surgery. I continue to struggle with fatigue and sleeplessness, but that has been my norm for many years now. Again, I am very hopeful that after the tumor is removed and with help from an endocrinologist that I will begin to see measurable differences in the way that I sleep at night and feel every day. And yet, compared to so many others who are really suffering and facing great pain, I am doing good and thankful for God's presence in my life each and every day. I love you and am so thankful for all of your prayers. - Your Pastor . . . Chad
