Surgery Date

Good morning church!  I just wanted to give a brief update on my appointment with the neurosurgeon on Thursday, October 8th.  The appointment went well and surgery has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th.  Although the neurosurgeon would like to remove the tumor as quickly as possible, we ran into scheduling issues with his schedule and another neurosurgeon who will assist in the surgery.  The plan is still to remove the tumor through my nose in a transphenoidal surgery.  Although I am a little discouraged that the surgery date is 5 weeks away, I am trying to trust God's perfect plan for my life and His timing.  Thank you for all the encouraging prayers and love and support that you have given.  It's difficult to be on the receiving end, but it is beautiful to see the Body of Christ love deeply.  I am so incredibly grateful to be your Pastor and to get to serve such an incredible church family.  My specific prayer request over the next 5 weeks would be that God would prepare my body for surgery so that my healing and recovery might go more quickly.  Your Pastor . . .
