PRAISE

  •  The Kids 4 Christ Prayer Request Cards went very well this past week and such interest from the kids was so refreshing! (Church Staff 10-20-26)

CURRENT MINISTRY NEEDS

  • Kids 4 Christ still needs more volunteers to help with Wednesday Nights . (Tyler Freeman 10-20-26)
  • Nursery Volunteers, We Need You! It will be so appreciated to help love on these sweet children. (Sam Gilliam 10-20-26)

SYMPATHY

  • Coty Ferguson's father died last Saturday. Please keep her, Dan, and their family in your prayers. (Ruby Lloyd 10-9-26)
  • Deborah Parks passed away on September 21, 2026. She was Laura Wilkins sister and Eddie Langley's aunt.  Prayers to all her family in this time of loss. (Church Staff 9-29-26)

HOSPITAL

  • Maria Stellar, friend of Robin Ropka, had a fall on Thursday. She hit her head and her elbow but she is ok.  They are admitting her for physical therapy. She has been moved to rehab at Legend Oaks, Rm. 311. (Robin Ropka 10-19-26)
  • Adam Freed is having surgery today to remove a mass from his abdomen. Pray for a quick recovery and a good report. (Chad Alexander 10-15--26)
  • Norma Moseley, mother to Terri Sloan & Lana Guidry and 2 other daughters is in Good Shepherd. She broke her right ankle from a fall she had on Thursday. She had surgery on Monday and is doing well. She is now at Longview Rehabilitation Hospital to get strong enough to go home.  She will be coming home on Monday the 26th. She has to stay off her foot for 6 to 8 weeks.                

CHURCH MEMBERS 

  • Becky Humphrey hopes to be released from the plastic surgeon next week. Her first 3 weeks with the new treatment has been a bit rough but hopefully will get better after her 1 week break before the next 3 week cycle. Thanks for all the prayers and support. (Becky Humphrey 10-20-26)
  • Chad Silvertooth fractured his left arm and will be out for a few weeks. Prayers for a quick recovery. (Chad Alexander 10-20-26)
  • Alta Ray is home now but is in her final days. Her son Bubba Ray is asking for prayers for her and her family. (Marita Mason 10-22-26)
  • Brian Johnson had a stroke in his left eye and they are treating it with medicine. (Chad Alexander 10-6-26)
  • Vickie Fussell has had knee surgery. Please pray for a quick recovery for her. (Chad Alexander 9-24-26)
  • Alta Ray is out of the hospital and is at home now resting. (Marita Mason 9-16-26)
  • Becky Humphrey is still doing good and getting better each day and her sister is still here for another 2 weeks to help her out (Chad Alexander 9-1-26)

FAMILY & FRIENDS OF CHURCH MEMBERS

  • Ed, Robin Ropka's sister-in-law's step dad has passed. Praying for strength as they prepare for the funeral. Also her biological dad has stage 4 cancer and needs prayers for healing. (Robin Ropka 10-21-26)
  • Donna Reed, Josh Valequez, Davis Friz, Daughter, & Cousin all relatives to Kyle Davis need prayers please. Also for his friend Tony Raymond. (Kyle Davis 10-10-26)
  • Pam Denmon, sister to Sherri Franklin, she got to come home from the hospital today. She is much better but still has some health issues. What a great God we serve!! Thank you for praying. (Sherri Franklin 10-10-26)
  • Jeff Miller, Stepfather of Bruce Stanton's son Chris, is having his bladder cancer surgery on Oct. 13th. Please pray for surgeons and all involved that God's will be done in our whole family. (Bruce Stanton 10-6-26)
  • Kay Morgan, update on Katie Vacca's mom, the doctor's have said that chemo will not do any good so they are gonna do the radiation to try and treat the brain cancer! Please pray for her and her family thru this difficult time. (Kim Cox 10-1-26)
  • Shauna Sander, cousin of Kyle Davis, his Daughter Kylie Davis and his nephews, Davis Friz and Josh Valesquez all need prayer. (Kyle Davis 9-30-26)
  • Donnie Beebe, founder & beloved former Pastor of Grace Baptist Church has been placed on hospice care at friendship Haven in Friendswood, Tx. close to his son, Donnie Martin. It would be impossible to count how many people's lives this faithful servant of God has impacted. Please pray for peace and comfort for him and his family. (Molly Peyton 9-30-26)
  • Aaron & Hannah Mason are returning home to Uganda on missions for Water For All on September 29,2026. Asking for prayer for the work the Lord has for them, may they have safe travel, health, strength, and joy shine through them each day. (Marita Mason 9-30-26)
  • Christine, Danine Quaas's daughter, has stage 4 breast cancer. All prayers will be appreciated. (Danine Quaas 9-28-26)
  • Robert Tompkins, Russ Tompkins brother, is not doing well. He is at Memorial hospital in Lufkin, Tx.  (Joy Swetnam 9-28-26)
  • Ken Hopkins, Hoppy Sheldon's cousin, is in the hospital. He has had an epileptic seizure. (Hoppy Sheldon 9-22-26)
