PRAISE
- Becky Humphrey got a great report today and will not need chemo going forward! (Chad Alexander 8-19-26)
- Jackson went to Doctor and is clear of cancer at this time. (Brock Martin 8-18-26)
- Had a great Mission trip to Colorado. (Chad Alexander 8-18-26)
CURRENT MINISTRY NEEDS

- More volunteers in K4C (8-18-26)
SYMPATHY
- Family of Teddy Hansard former member of FBCLC. Please pray for Marion Hansard who is in the hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck that took Teddy's life. Their daughter Jean called to ask for prayer.
-Marion has been transferred to a rehab hospital in Bryan, however they have found a blood clot on her lung. She is being taken to the ER so they can administer blood thinners.
The family is looking at having a service in Caldwell and a graveside service in Hughes Springs. All of this is tentative for when Marion is discharged. (updated 8-18-26)
HOSPITAL
- Alta Ray is at ICU at Mother Francis in Tyler with congestive heart and kidney failure. (Marita Mason 8-18-26)
CHURCH MEMBERS
- Herman Johnson was released Wednesday evening and is getting stronger every day. Thank you for all the prayers. (Linda Johnson 8-21-26)
- Natalie Johnson has an auto immune disease. (Brock Martin 8-18-26)
- Becky Humphrey is doing good and is at home and is getting help from her sister. Blood sugar is a little off. (Terri Sloan 8-18-26)
- Cary Challis was in a car accident this morning. After taking a trip to the hospital to get checked out she is doing okay and has been released to go home. Please pray for her in the days to come as she is experiencing headache and will be sore. She will also need a new car. (Caleigh Challis 8-12-26)
- Sharon Kufahl continues to get stronger. (Joy Swetnam 8-5-26)
FAMILY & FRIENDS OF CHURCH MEMBERS
- Pam Denmon, Sherrie Franklin's sister has started radiation and doing well and has one chemo on Fridays. Thanks for all the prayers. (Sherrie Franklin 8-19-26)
- Blake Dover, friend of Chad & Kelly Alexander. Blake is the Pastor at Southside Baptist. He has kidney cancer. (Chad Alexander 8-18-26)
- Joel Kerby, friend of Bethany Reynolds, he is going back to Houston this week to see his cancer doctor. They are doing some tests to see if cancer cells have entered the fluid around his brain. This would explain his health still declining even though the tumor is not growing. Also pray he is able to make the 4 hour trip well. (Bethany Reynolds 8-18-26)
- Doris Williams (sister of Cheryl Pearson & daughter of Paul Phillips) had to have colon removed due to deterioration. Awaiting Pet scan results to see where all cancer is. (Jessica Martindale 8-11-26)
- Katie Vacca's mother, Kay Morgan: her doctor's have found a mass in her brain. Please pray for peace and strength for their family and guidance for the doctor's. (Suzanne Roper 8-9-26)
- Annette Allison (Dementia) and her husband Kenneth her caregiver. (Joy Swetnam 8-5-26)
