SYMPATHY

Family of Teddy Hansard former member of FBCLC.  Please pray for Marion Hansard who is in the hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck that took Teddy's life.  Their daughter Jean called to ask for prayer.  No funeral arrangements have been made yet.  Address for notes of sympathy: 3847 CR 310  Caldwell, TX 77836. -Surgery on Marion's arm went well and they have removed her breathing tube. She is doing well all things considered. (Updated 8-4-26)

HOSPITAL

  • Alta Ray has been admitted to Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler. This is her third time in the hospital with swelling and fluid. She is also asking prayer for her husband James. (Marita Mason 7-14-26)
  • Janet Stone is at Christus Good Shepherd Longview Rm. 342. Having her second surgery on her right foot. (Chad Alexander 7-13-26)

CHURCH MEMBERS 

  • Becky Humphrey got results back from abdominal MRI today. There is nothing going on anywhere in her abdomen. She will see the plastic surgeon on Wednesday at 2 pm and will likely find out surgery date at that time. Surgery will be early August, it will be a 3 hr surgery if all goes well. There will be a skin graft. One night in the hospital, treatment will follow for 3 years. (Becky Humphrey 7-20-26)
  • Kathryn Dalby, Mark & Shellie Dalby's daughter,  has been diagnosed with SVT and has been scheduled for an EP study and catheter ablation on Monday, July 27th. Pray for a successful procedure and a quick recovery. (Shellie Dalby 7-19-26)
  • Bettye Jo Taylor is at Arbor Grace in Kilgore for rehab. (Jessica Martindale 7-13-26)
  • Jaxon, a student of Brock Martin, his grandmother Connie, said he has recently developed some swelling in his left shoulder near the area of his previous surgeries. His pediatrician has contacted his oncologist and they have ordered a CT Scan and labs will be done on Friday. Once they receive those results they will know more about next steps. He is scheduled to see his specialty oncologist on the 21st. He is still not feeling well and resting at home. Pray for his family and wisdom for his doctors and peace as they wait for answers.   • Dawn Crawford has a test and some health issues (Dawn Crawford 7-5-26)
  • Herman Johnson had 99 percent blockage, so 2 stents in one artery was done. He came home on Thursday, June 25th and he is doing well! So very grateful! (Linda Johnson 6-27-26)
  • James Ray (Alta Ray's husband) is coming home Saturday from the nursing home. (Alta Ray 6-24-26)
  • Alta Ray is home now and doing better. (Marita Mason 6-24-26)
  • Blake & Kristi Jesters are attempting applications for kidney transplant. Blake is giving to Kristi. Please pray their application gets accepted. (Kristi Jesters 6-22-26)
  • Sharon Kufahl, will have her 3 month bloodwork & checkup after chemo on Monday afternoon, on the 22nd. Prayers that all is still going good!!!! (Joy Swetnam 6-22-26)

FAMILY & FRIENDS OF CHURCH MEMBERS

  • Pam Denmon, Sherri Franklin's sister, had 3 malignant biopsies and she is going to the oncologist tomorrow. Thank you for praying!! (Sherri Franklin 7-22-26)
  • Madeline, Sherri Franklin's granddaughter, she is off of the wound vac and her pick line has been taken out and the hole has completely closed. What a miracle! (Sherri Franklin 7-22-26)
  • Ken, Robin Ropka's cousin, has had another stroke possibly. Not sure yet waiting on results. He lives in Maryland with another cousin of Robin's. Please lift her up in prayer as well. (Robin Ropka 7-17-26)
  • Maria Steller, friend of Robin Ropka, her husband passed away yesterday morning at 8:56 am. Please pray for her to have peace as she deals with funeral arrangements. (Robin Ropka 7-17-26)
  • Cassie, Brenda Lester's granddaughter, will get to come home today. Praise God! She was flighted to Dallas and has been there since 7-7-26.She will be wearing a life vest for the next 3 months and taking medicines to help heal her heart and give some time to make decisions. The lungs and kidneys appear to have healed. They aren't sure if the damage to the heart was there before the cardiac arrest or as a result of the shocks during the arrest.  Thankful for all the prayers. (Brenda Lester 7-17-26)
  • Annette Allison, Swetnam's friends, has back pain and dementia. Please pray for her and Kenneth, who is her caregiver and husband. (Jerry & Joy Swetnam 7-16-26)
  • Maria Steller, friend of Robin Ropka, is having to go to the hospital to turn off life support for her husband. He had a major stroke & a brain bleed a few weeks ago. She is asking for strength, love and courage to face the days ahead. (Robin Ropka 7-14-26)
  • Berry Roberson, Kyle Davis's friend, has throat & tongue cancer. Please pray for him and his wife Carla. (Kyle Davis 7-12-26)
  • Shelia English, sister-in-law of Mark & Kelli Duarte, is having open heart surgery. The date is to be determined after an appt. on Monday the 13th. She also has a host of medical issues. Please pray for her peace and comfort as she is very anxious. (7-12-26 Terri Sloan)
  • Andrea Chessman Hubbard, Cynthia & Mike Morton's daughter did fantastic. They believe they got all of the tumor and she is now in a room. Please do continue to pray that her heart will be softened towards the Lord and that she will seek Him. (Cynthia Morton 7-10-26)
  • Danny Wilhelm, wife Becky, he is at wound care center in San Angelo. Doctor's are concerned that Danny's hand is healing slower then normal but it is healing . (Jerry & Joy Swetnam 7-9-26)
  • Doris & Chuck Williams, sister & brother-in-law of Cheryl Pearson & Daughter & son-in-law of Paul Phillips. Doris had a biopsy on a mass and is awaiting results. (Jessica Martindale 7-9-26)
  • Joel & Marsha Kerby, continued prayers for them. Joel is feeling well these days as he recovers from brain cancer! (Sharlene Cordray 7-8-26)
  • Krystal Ever's Dad has cancer and is now in Hospice. (7-5-26 Krystal Evers)
